Sure, it's only the laundry room, but it happens that this area is at the entry to the house, so it's often the first room people see. Also, I spend a good chunk of time in here. We repainted the walls, ripped out the grotty linoleum and painted the concrete, installed a shelf, added insulation to the hot water cylinder (behind the cabinet) and dislodged 47 (or so) spiders and their webs. Loving the simple improvements....

Thanks guys! I agree -- the space feels much brighter. Poor spiders is right...usually I just leave them to do their bug-catching work, but well, when you're going to clean out a space, you may as well really clean it. And in this space, that certainly meant clearing out years of their webs and hard work. Ah well, I'm sure they'll move back in soon enough!
