About Me
You won't see more than my hand or foot in most of my blog posts, but here I am, full-frontal (so to speak.)
I've been in New Zealand for about four years; my husband Jake (above) is a Kiwi, and together we decided to move to Nelson to live the good life and raise our family.
Before immigrating south of the equator, I lived in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon, working as a teacher for primary school kids and leading a conservation and ecology program in the public schools. Now, I'm a full-time mama with two wonderful, beautiful kids: Solomon and Aya. I feel very lucky to be home and spending my days with them.
Though my creative interests span quite a few crafts, my business, Seedling Clothing focuses primarily on hand-printing. I believe that consumer choices really can make a difference, so I use only organic cotton clothing and non-toxic, water-based inks.
I love the combination of writing, photography, art and community. It's incredibly exciting when someone reaches out and creates a dialogue, so if you're inclined to get in touch or leave a comment, please do. I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for stopping by.
~ Jen
