All of the above are works in progress....the studio has been busy-busy this week! I'm getting ready (gulp) for my very first day at the Nelson craft/farmers market this Saturday, June 19th. There's certainly something about standing behind your work and saying, "I made this" that's a bit, well, terrifying. Ok, exciting and terrifying, both. Kudos to those of you that do this on a regular basis! You are all brave, brave souls.
I'll keep this brief today -- typing one-handed, with my sleeping baby on my lap...
Anyway -- wish me luck! I'll let you know how it goes.
ps This is my first day officially playing along with "My Creative Space" on Kootoyou. Check out many others and their creative spaces here.

ooh, good luck for Saturday. If I'm at the market I'll say hi :)
Good luck with the market. I'm sure your beautiful creations will be well received.
It's work to be proud of!
Good luck! I love making but still get nervous behind a stall and I've done loads now.
I love, love, love your prints.
I'm typing with two hands but occasionally having to fend off a sticky fingered bambini.
Everything will be perfect Jen - good luck!
I hope it's a cracker day for you.
Good luck! You'll be fine - your beautiful items will sell themselves :-)
Found you from Yootoyou. I love the printing. The items you are making are fabulous. And all with a baby at home - phew!
While it can be a little nerve-wracking to 'put yourself out there', the feedback and direct people contact is invaluable - I'm sure you'll have a ball and sell lots :)
Thank you all for the encouragement! Now, if I could only bring you all along with me at 7 am tomorrow :) Actually feeling pretty good now -- everything is ironed, the tags are on... now it's time to use the incredible power of positive thinking to create a perfect clear-but-not-too-cold morning. I'll let you know how it goes!
ps Claire, definitely stop by and say hello if you're around! It would be lovely to meet you.
Good luck from overseas!
I would like to be there and have a look at your amazing work - be proud!
you'll sell well, I'm sure :)
Oh, that's some great-looking product! Good luck. I think you'll do just fine. :)
What a lovely first entry into Kirsty's creative space. I can see that you will do well at your first market. You have great things and very original. Well done. Lou.
